Current Target Species
Each year these small ground mammals cause extensive damage to farm fields, crops and equipment.
Besides foraging on field crops, many are burrowing animals, whose mounds and holes create hazards for livestock, obstacles for farm equipment and prevent crops from growing on disturbed land. In other instances, these small mammals can get into stored grain or, damage agricultural infrastructure (i.e. in California, pocket gophers can damage drip irrigation lines).
Penergetic b ZV’s purpose is to act as a deterrent discouraging these pests from inhabiting where the product is applied. Since these small mammals often live underground and have developed elaborate networks of tunnels, with multiple entrances, when using Penergetic b ZV it is important to carry out a fairly land expansive spraying program to ensure adequate coverage of the area they occupy.
Prior to using Penergetic b ZV it is beneficial to become familiar with the living conditions, breeding habits and geographic distribution of the target species one intended to control.
Although Penergetic b ZV is non-toxic it may have the effect of controlling target specie populations in a given area.
These species each have their own unique habits, problematic tendencies for agriculture and times of the year when they may be most active. Also, they often live in different geographic locations
from one another.
